Delayed

This is from a few days ago. Around Easter. I have couple more manis in drafts and then I think it will be break. I am moving house next month. Our new house is almost ready. That is where I have been busy, choosing door handles and curtains and what not. It has been tiring but I am really happy with everything. The worst part begins now though. Packing everything and then the unpacking. Ugh!

Now to this mani, it was copied (badly :P) from the very talented Thecraftyninja, whom I follow on Instagram. Actually I like this mani, just that I think I overdid the dots. I was going for a clean-er look. I absolutely love the colors though.

Black Illusion

I am back. The nubs are back .Saran wrap marble is back too. 🙂 What’s absolutely new is LA Girl Black Illusion, a gorgeous black holo. I wish I had taken better pictures because this mani was really lovely in person.

Gloss & Matte

Matte

My daughter picked these polishes for me. Actually I shut the box after the first three polishes she picked, I dont think she would have stopped at three or four or five. The more the merrier 🙂 But it was so much fun.

Glossy

Perfect matte

I love nude & gold together. I wear this combination quite often. It is simple and stunning at the same time.And easy. I put a matte topcoat this time and love the end result. Perfect!!

Negative

The negative space nail art is definitely my favourite at the moment. If only I had little more time , I’d be playing with tape and polish all day. Its so much fun!!

The blue polish in this mani is Bourjois 1seconde Bleu moonlight. Its a gem. A true one coater. I have just one coat here. It dries fast and glossy too. The other is Corail magique. Another favourite of mine.

Neon pop

What I had in mind was a neutral beige base with the slightest hint of neon here and there. This is lot more than slight, but its okay.

The thumb,I didn’t know what to do with it. It looks funny, I think. 😀

Yellow!

I needed a happy color and I chose yellow. Okay now I will go back to my fudge brownie. 🙂

Oatmeal raisin love!

This is Faces sand coat Oatmeal Raisin. I do not like the name. I love the rest of it. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and unlike any polish I own. I did three coats here. Now, going by Faces Cosmetics history I’d say its their take on OPI’s very famous Alcatraz Rocks. Not that I am complaining. 😉

I am mostly pretty meh about polish fads/trends. Like I dont own any shatter or magnetic polishes. But the textured polish trend has all my attention.

This is the first mani I have ever done with striping tape. All courtesy the lovely Kejal. She sent me the tape and my first set of nail art brushes! ! Thank you Kejal! I need to break open the brushes now. 🙂

This one is with topcoat. So if you dont like textured polish its still just as stunning with a topcoat.

And this is a very thin coat of Jessica Gingersnap over Faces Oatmeal raisin. Fascinating!!!

Holo heart!

Its here! My valentines mani! 😀 Little things-great joy! I did this in a rush (as usual) and it shows. But I still like it. Also it looks atleast ten times better in person than here. I hope I will remember to re-do this mani . I really like the negative space nails, and for the first time in years (seriously!) my nails are not stained, so I dont feel bad showing them. Hurray to that!

Baby steps!

This mani here is not much but baby steps will do for now. I really don’t remember much. There is a white, a black. That grey is from OPI. I have love-hate relationship with it. It goes from smooth and perfect one time to streaky and impossible next time. If I didnt know better I’d say I have two bottles of the same polish. Weird, huh!? Any thoughts? That glitter topper China Glaze Boo-gie Down. Love it!

Now I really really want to do a nice valentine mani. Dear God of time! please relent, give me an extra hour today! 🙂
