The negative space nail art is definitely my favourite at the moment. If only I had little more time , I’d be playing with tape and polish all day. Its so much fun!!

The blue polish in this mani is Bourjois 1seconde Bleu moonlight. Its a gem. A true one coater. I have just one coat here. It dries fast and glossy too. The other is Corail magique. Another favourite of mine.

Two greens and a pink

The dots are messy but the colors are pretty. I saw a beautiful dot gradient on Instagram and mine looks downright ugly next to it. But eh…. 😀

I really like these two colors together. I think I had a dress in that combination long long long ago. 😛

Vivid & Lively

Rimmel Lively Lilcac, Barry M Vivid Purple

Vivid Purple is a beautiful beautiful polish. And like all polishes it should not be applied under a fan. Because that turns a perfectly good polish into a goopy mess. Sigh! It was still pretty.

Pastels & Dots

Lotus Deep Sea, Orly Lemonade, Lotus Pink Doll, Orly Gumdrop, Rimmel Lively Lilac

This is another one that has been sitting in the drafts folder forever. As soon as I was done dotting I knew something was off. When I uploaded the pics I realised the dots were little too big. Smaller dots would have looked more balanced/appropriate with my nubs.

So today I made a redo folder, where I put pictures of the mani I want to do again. I am afraid that includes almost all the ones I have done. 😛

Copy. Test. Fail.

There is a common theme in all these manis. None of them wanted to be here. But there are only so many pictures you can keep between the keep’em-chuck’em folders. 😛

This one comes from Lucy’s Stash. I memorized the dot placement as well. LOL. Did this well past midnight in low light, had no idea where the polish was going! I woke up to see what a mess it was. 😀 I really want to do this again in pink, white and purple.

Unimaginative and blah! But but but….I saw a post on One Nail to Rule Them All (Cool Blog Name!) where she used gel pen. Gel Pen!!!I had to try it pronto. I hunted all the gel pens I had lying around and went around testing. Brilliant idea this one!!

I wanted to get a hang of this gel pen, but the base was not completely dry. Hence I had to keep my hand light. Well light and steady isnt happening here anytime soon. SO next time I will work on my patience. Tough one that too!! The pointer and pinky again a tutorial from Lucy’s Stash. 🙂

Tri-angled Copy

I fell in love with this mani by Chalkboard Nails. So this is my sad little version, which I happen to love. I am a big fan of geometric prints. So this is right up my alley. I will re do this again.

The polishes I used were Orly Lemonade, Lotus Pink Doll & Deep Sea

Let’s not call this spring-y. 😀

Two coats of Barry M Mint Green. No topcoat.

Barry M Mint Green and Revlon Electric

I think I am mildly addicted to Electric. 😛

Orly Gumdrop

The only reason I did not buy this polish earlier is because I don’t like mini bottles. I love this colour but it is pain to apply. The thin tiny brush doesn’t help. I think a bigger brush would have meant less strokes thus less streaky-ness.

I’d still say Gumdrop is  worth the trouble. Stylecraze Please! the full size bottles!

Polishes of the month

Simply means the polishes I loved painting my tips & toes with and the polishes I reached for again and agian and the polishes I was sad to remove when they needed to be removed. 🙂

Lakme Fast & Fabulous Purple Plunge is my absolute favourite from this range . And I just cant seem to get enough of it these days. It is my current pedi and looks beautiful.

OPI My Private Jet. I cant believe I did not even try this polish for so long. I am in love with it.

Zoya Avril. My search for pinky brown pastel nude is over…for now 🙂 It covers perfectly in two coats. SO easy so lovely.

Lakme Absolute Fast & Fabulous Aqua Express . Its nothing special actually. But I was in mood for a bright glittery blue on my toes and I remembered I had this. Another one I haven’t yet tried on my hands.

Orly Lemonade

Orly Lemonade is a beautiful yellow pastel. It is so stark against my skin that  my hands look dark but never dull. I love this polish. I wish it had better formula but I was prepared, being yellow and pastel I did not have high hope any way. The colour is so much fun and it makes me crave for holidays. *Sigh!* I am definitely taking this along on the next one! 🙂

PS: I am sick and I hope I have written coherent sentences above.
