Oatmeal raisin love!

😀

This is Faces sand coat Oatmeal Raisin. I do not like the name. I love the rest of it. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and unlike any polish I own. I did three coats here. Now, going by Faces Cosmetics history I’d say its their take on OPI’s very famous Alcatraz Rocks. Not that I am complaining. 😉

I am mostly pretty meh about polish fads/trends. Like I dont own any shatter or magnetic polishes. But the textured polish trend has all my attention.

This is the first mani I have ever done with striping tape. All courtesy the lovely Kejal. She sent me the tape and my first set of nail art brushes! ! Thank you Kejal! I need to break open the brushes now. 🙂

This one is with topcoat. So if you dont like textured polish its still just as stunning with a topcoat.

And this is a very thin coat of Jessica Gingersnap over Faces Oatmeal raisin. Fascinating!!!

Victorian Crush

Jessica Victorian Crush, Two coats. No topcoat.
Its gem of a polish! It covered almost perfectly in one coat. I love coaters, even though I never leave it at that. 😛

By the time I was done, the clouds took over the sky and I was left with these dull pictures. Bah!

The other polish I used is OPI My Japanese Rose Garden.

Smoky Feather

Jessica Smoky Feather. 2-3 coats
Its a pretty polish that I got in sale at good price. Makes it even better. 😀

This makes me happy. I finally got prefect crisp lines with the tape.I used Sally Hansen Black Out for it.And I am going to savour this moment. Who knows what the next taping brings. 😛

New Year’s nails

This is a simple beautiful understated bling on my nails. Its low maintenance, it goes with any and everything and when I get terribly bored, all I need is to look at my nails and see the play of light. Fun!

Zoya Veruschka  with glossy topcoat (the picture does no justice to the gorgeous polish!)

Jessica Casablanca

Pretty Meh actually. Layla multireflex would cost just as much and prove to be more versatile. It took three very thin, quick drying coats. But where is the pink, purple and blue glitter that I saw in the bottle? Whats the use of keeping it in the bottle? It has to show up on my nails.
