Pastels & Dots

Lotus Deep Sea, Orly Lemonade, Lotus Pink Doll, Orly Gumdrop, Rimmel Lively Lilac

This is another one that has been sitting in the drafts folder forever. As soon as I was done dotting I knew something was off. When I uploaded the pics I realised the dots were little too big. Smaller dots would have looked more balanced/appropriate with my nubs.

So today I made a redo folder, where I put pictures of the mani I want to do again. I am afraid that includes almost all the ones I have done. 😛

Coloroma Black. W7 Salt & Pepper.

This is from couple of weeks ago. Looking at these pictures I can tell it was more striking before the saran wrap.

Dotting the Reef

This is two coats of l’oreal’s Blue Reef. Great color, nice formula and a fantastic brush. Rididculous price!!

Tried doing a gradient with Revlon electric. Didn’t like it much so added the dots. The dots revived the sad looking gradient. 😀

After some hot and humid April days, today we had cool breeze, clouds and some showers. Which is also why these pictures were taken in artificial light.

I am very proud of this mani. The base is Lakme Misty Grey. Rest is all acrylic colors. As soon as I did the tree my two year old woke up. Rest was done with her sleeping and waking in my lap.Things you learn!! 😛

Forced ….

I had the laziest week in long long time. I did nothing, not one productive thing. This is my half heart-ed attempt at stopping that week from converting into a month. 😀 I used OPI French Quater for your Thought and Revlon Electric. Two streaky polishes. One runny, one thick. This was no fun. Oh well! Something is better than nothimg. 🙂

Sally Hansen Purple pizazz

Sally Hansen Purple Pizazz two coats (?) over a coat of Lotus plum delight

This is a great purple polish. This polish deserves more praise. But I am so tired, its better if I don’t try. 😛

Happi-ly Blue

One coat of Zoya Happi over a coat of Lotus Playful Pink. Matte Topcoat. Artificial Light no flash.

Happi is one of my favourite polish! I wore it matte for the first time and it is just as stunning.

Today I wanted some blue nails but did not have the heart to remove Happi. Tape and Barry M Cyam Blue happily helped. 😀

Dots on Chocolate Frost

To be honest, this pic came out better than what the mani actually looked. The colors are great together, the dot gradient not so much.

Polishes I used were
Maybelline Chocolate Frost, 2 coats. Fab polish.
OPI Japanese Rose Garden
OPI French Quarter for your thoughts

The shy Flakies on Catwalk

Bourjois Lime Catwalk. Three coats,No topcoat.Funky color 😛
It is a two coater, I did three for no good reason. 😀

Next saran wrap with Rimmel Instyle Coral and topped with Inglot flakie topcoat.

These pictures dont do justice to the mani. It looks way better IRL.

Reminds me of marbles.
