This looked infinitely cool in person. Or atleast that is what I remember. 😛 I love flakies and as painful as the Revlon flakies are they do look gorgeous.
First things first, The polish ghost is back!!! Its obvious it loves Oktoberfest just as much as I do! And secondly, hello October! I love October! Begin October with Oktoberfest! Okay lame! 😛
I have had one of those crazy busy weeks. All I want to do this weekend is put my feet up, order food in and finish reading my book. But not happening. Sigh!
So for now I will go paint my nails a happy orange and eat some cake.
Dutch ’Ya Just Love OPI?
I have had this polish for so long and this is the first time I put it on (as far as I remember 😛 ). I was pretty sure it wasnt as beautiful as all the swatches made it look. But it is! It is!
Ah well!! All in good time! 🙂
When I said I was working on the gradients, I was not kidding. I am having so much fun dab dabbing! 😀
I wasn’t sure how these shades will pair with each other, but I think the delicate green and the striking teal work beautifully together.
These are two of the Limited Edition nail paints from Lakme’s Royal Opulence by Sabyasachi. I googled that! 😛 They are both gorgeous colors. Two coats here with topcoat. Dry fast. The shade Green Drama must be a relaunch because I saw the exact color in Lakme’s color crush range which is 100 bucks cheaper than these (?). And as beautiful as the green is, the teal is the stunner of this collection.
When I sat down to do my nails today, I had no idea what I wanted to do. So I picked up Jo. Then picked up two acrylic colors, one of which I was sure was eggplant. It was blue. But I am very happy with the end result. Even the messy Rose buds look right, to me anyway. 😀
Opi Ink is so much more beautiful than what these pictures show. These pictures miss the gorgeous blue and pink shimmer that makes Ink the beauty it is. And it loses none of its charm when mattified. I loved the mani more than I thought I would.
I have been busy and sick and lazy. Its a miracle this post is even being written. 😀
I am pretty sure I did the saran wrap on some of those nails.I expected to see more contrast. But once I got over the disappointment I really liked the result.
And lots and lots of dots! 🙂
