My Japanese Rose Garden was my first OPI. And its one of my favourite polish. It is a beautiful pink with most delicate pearly shimmer. And it covers in one coat.
As soon as put this polish I knew I wanted to put these roses on it. My hand is still shaky but I am happy with these roses, specially on the index. All thanks to the very helpful video tutorial by Rina Alcantara. Her blog is truly inspiring.
I wish I had better lighting when I took these pictures. It looked prettier IRL.
Maybelline Turquoise Lagoon and Chocolate Frost
Love!! Those hearts were inspired from here. How amazing is that blog!!!
After some hot and humid April days, today we had cool breeze, clouds and some showers. Which is also why these pictures were taken in artificial light.
I am very proud of this mani. The base is Lakme Misty Grey. Rest is all acrylic colors. As soon as I did the tree my two year old woke up. Rest was done with her sleeping and waking in my lap.Things you learn!! 😛
There is a common theme in all these manis. None of them wanted to be here. But there are only so many pictures you can keep between the keep’em-chuck’em folders. 😛
This one comes from Lucy’s Stash. I memorized the dot placement as well. LOL. Did this well past midnight in low light, had no idea where the polish was going! I woke up to see what a mess it was. 😀 I really want to do this again in pink, white and purple.
Unimaginative and blah! But but but….I saw a post on One Nail to Rule Them All (Cool Blog Name!) where she used gel pen. Gel Pen!!!I had to try it pronto. I hunted all the gel pens I had lying around and went around testing. Brilliant idea this one!!
I wanted to get a hang of this gel pen, but the base was not completely dry. Hence I had to keep my hand light. Well light and steady isnt happening here anytime soon. SO next time I will work on my patience. Tough one that too!! The pointer and pinky again a tutorial from Lucy’s Stash. 🙂
I fell in love with this mani by Chalkboard Nails. So this is my sad little version, which I happen to love. I am a big fan of geometric prints. So this is right up my alley. I will re do this again.
The polishes I used were Orly Lemonade, Lotus Pink Doll & Deep Sea
Let’s not call this spring-y. 😀
I have no idea why these pictures turned out so bad. Bad light may be. Playfull Pink is a gorgeous bright pink.I loved the contrast with white and kept this mani for two days. It is a big deal because not a single flower in that mani is how it should have been. 😛 I am finally embracing the imperfections/limitations. Ha!!
OPI Get in the Expresso Lane, 2coats. No top coat.
Yay! Finally the bottle shot!
OPI Get in the Expresso Lane and Chopstickng to my story
There is another green polish I used. But I don’t remember which.
This is a classic example of how you should sometimes leave the polish alone. 😀
Lesson learnt?! Let’s hope! 😛

Next time I will try and keep my hands steady and may be the hearts will look less shaky. 😛 Other than that I really like this mani. Its white so its a winner anyway! 😀
